Funeral Celebrant

‘Telling the Story’

Involving family and friends.

Everybody’s life is a unique story.

I trained as a Funeral Celebrant with Civil Ceremonies and completed their diploma, I then went on to further my public speaking by attending a 6-month course with Ginger Inspired Speakers.

Writing a story, tribute, eulogy is often full of laughter and tears.   Farnham Common Funeral Director | Berkshire | Funeral Celebrant | Opals

I can write the eulogy for you, but also encourage families to write these themselves or let me help them with the process.

It is usually important to gather memories and thoughts from several members of the family and friends and I will help guide you in this so we gain a fitting and appropriate tribute.

My aim is to write a heartfelt, respectful eulogy. The tone is important and so is honesty. It’s the stories that add quality to the tribute.

It is perfectly acceptable for members of the family to read their own memories or read a poem or write a poem. This all adds to the uniqueness of the ceremony and makes it more personalised.

Sometimes people can find it helpful to write their tribute in the form of a letter and these can be read out.

I am happy to support you and do as much or as little as you want. Often a combination of the two is appropriate. I will be alongside you during the service.
